\nbrushing away memories
\nthat’s not me anymore
\nthat was someone who barely felt
\nher feet touching the ground
\nthis time it’s different
\ni’m focussed
\ndetermined
\nnow i know
\nwhere

\na destination without pressure
\na love without a lover
\ndevotion to the profane
\nthe simplicity of a silent afternoon
\nbetween photographs
\nreflecting on a life

i’ve taken life apart in order to see
\nthe substance between the pieces
\nthat keeps it together

it ain’t the frame

\nyou decide to

the layers are many
\nthe deconstruction
\ninfinite<\/p>\n

but in the end
